Volunteers

Love Chapel is volunteer-driven.

Our community in Columbus, Indiana and beyond is filled with diverse needs, and that means that it takes a wide range of volunteers to meet those needs. Whether you want to volunteer once or on a regular basis, it makes a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors.

In fact, through their time and generosity, volunteers at Love Chapel provide an average financial impact of over $80,000 every month.

Who can become a volunteer?

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life. Whether you’re in school, employed, retired, religious or non-religious, we would love to have you join us. Love Chapel is a perfect outlet if you need service hours for school, work, or court-ordered community service, and regardless of your goals, we can help you achieve them through a hands-on, high-impact service environment.

We strive to maintain a safe environment for everyone, so if you have concerns about harassment, discrimination, unnecessary risk, theft, illegal activity, or anything that doesn't align with Love Chapel's vision, report first to your shift manager or site supervisor, and, if necessary, escalate to our Executive Director, Kelly Daugherty.
