Does Love Chapel close on public holidays?
Yes, Love Chapel will be closed on the following holidays in 2024:
Does Love Chapel close for bad weather?
With the exception of outdoor outreach pantries, Love Chapel services continue outside of extreme weather. If we need to close, you will be notified.
What if I cannot make it to my shift?
If you are sick, injured, or otherwise not in a position to come to your shift, please don't! Instead, let Patra know as soon as possible.
Where should I park?
Some parking spots are reserved for clients. Click here for parking instructions.
Can I bring a friend to volunteer with me?
While we love when you encourage others to volunteer, anybody interested must first talk with Patra to complete the necessary paperwork and get on the schedule.
Does Love Chapel have a dress code?
Wear closed-toe shoes and don't wear tops with low necklines or bare shoulders. Beyond that, use your best judgment for a service environment. Ongoing volunteers are provided with a T-shirt, but wearing it is entirely optional.
Who should I contact if I see inappropriate or unsafe behavior?
We strive to maintain a safe environment for everyone, so if you have concerns about harassment, discrimination, unnecessary risk, theft, illegal activity, or anything that doesn't align with Love Chapel's vision, report first to your shift manager or site supervisor, and, if necessary, escalate to our Executive Director, Kelly Daugherty.
