To our Community – Thank You

To Our Community,

In a month marked by uncertainty, you reminded us what true community looks like.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve witnessed something powerful — a response so generous, so heartfelt, that it has left our entire team at Love Chapel deeply moved and incredibly grateful.

When the news broke about the reduction in SNAP benefits, we knew our pantry would be facing increased demand and we worried about how we would meet it. But we didn’t face that challenge alone. You stepped up.

And you didn’t just show up… you gave, you organized, you rallied.

We’ve seen it in businesses organizing food drives, churches and clubs collecting canned goods, and individuals arriving with bags of produce, rice, and pantry staples — often quietly, and always generously. Families have donated their grocery budget. Children gave their allowances. And in more than one case, entire departments or neighborhoods came together to make sure our shelves stayed stocked.

We’ve also seen our city leaders working together to connect us with new donors and match large financial gifts — not just giving, but strategically amplifying impact to meet this moment.

The result? In a time when we feared we’d have to scale back, we’ve been able to offer even more to those facing food insecurity. That’s because of you.

But beyond the food and funding, there’s something even more powerful that you’ve given us and that’s hope. Hope that our mission matters. Hope that our neighbors are watching out for one another. Hope that in the hardest times, we can rise together and meet the need.

It’s hard to put into words how much that means. We are truly humbled and grateful.

If you’re looking for a way to keep the impact going, we invite you to consider becoming a monthly donor. Even small recurring gifts help us plan ahead, budget smarter, and stay ready to serve — not just during crisis, but every day.

From every staff member, volunteer, and family we serve — thank you. Thank you for being part of this mission. Thank you for believing in what we do. And thank you for giving us the means — and the motivation — to keep going. You have lifted us up. You’ve made sure no one has to go through this season alone.

We’re honored to be part of such a generous and compassionate community.

With heartfelt gratitude, The Love Chapel Team www.columbuslovechapel.com
