Why give to Love Chapel?

Love Chapel operates entirely on donations, and our work reaches one out of every ten people in Bartholomew County, which means that your generosity has a real, immediate impact on your neighbors.

By giving to Love Chapel, you are providing food, shelter, and financial assistance to those in need, all through a well-established model guided by safety protocols to ensure our system is not abused.

When you give to Love Chapel, you are supporting our friends in the community who are experiencing challenging seasons through:

Love Chapel Foundation

The Love Chapel Foundation is a special fund created to support the long-term viability of our work. Unlike the day-to-day work of Love Chapel, the foundation exists to develop and fund new programs, provide resources for new equipment, and serve as emergency funding in the event of a community-affecting disaster.

How you can give

Financial

Giving financially may be the quickest, most convenient way to donate. To continue the work that we do, Love Chapel accepts cash, check, or card donations to further the impact of Love Chapel.

Legacy

If Love Chapel has made a lasting impact on you that you'd like to pay forward, legacy giving may be for you. Extending the life of Love Chapel with a generational impact is possible through legacy giving.

In-Kind

Love Chapel is built on the generosity of others, and we value the ways you donate items such as food, clothing, and other supplies. If you have questions about which items are included in in-kind giving, please reach out to Janice Kotnik (operations@columbuslovechapel.com).

Tribute

At Love Chapel, we believe in the importance of honoring others. Tribute giving is the perfect way to honor, recognize, and celebrate a loved one.

Stock

Donating stock saves you both capital gains taxes and income taxes, allowing for these tax savings to stretch your giving. At Love Chapel, we accept stock donations to maximize your generous impact.

Other

If you're interested in donating in ways that aren't listed, please reach out to us. We'd love to help you find different ways to give.
Care for our community today through a gift to Love Chapel.
