With a passion for helping those in need, Mendy is excited to serve as Director of Program Services at Love Chapel.  Service being forefront in her mind, she loves the opportunity to oversee daily operations of the Food Pantry and Brighter Days Homeless Shelter.

Before coming to Love Chapel, Mendy spent eight years for another nonprofit, pouring into the lives of tweens and teens across eight counties in Indiana, helping them learn healthy boundaries in all areas of their lives.  She also brings a wealth of experience in healthcare human resource management, student mentoring, and currently serves on the emergency response team at her church.

Spending time in the food pantry and shelter, Mendy loves being the hands and feet of Jesus.  Being a part of Love Chapel is a daily opportunity to show His love through the basics of food and shelter. According to Mendy, when you can turn your passions into a job, it isn’t really work!
